  • Hymn in Haiku

    (2007)

Teilhard de Chardin's Hymn to matter was the startingpoint for the joint venture 'Hymn in Haiku' by Fons Heijnsbroek and myself. I rewrote the Hymn in haikus, which inspired Fons to paint a series of pictures. I want to express my gratitude to Olga van Trigt for her sensitive translation into English in which she managed to preserve the haiku form.
